11 parts Complete Altariel, the middle child of Lord Elrond, is the target of practically every suitor in Middle-earth. When an Elf comes along whose union with her would secure a near-perfect political benefit for her people, her father agrees to let her be courted despite her loathing of the man.
Unexpected problems arise when Altariel accompanies the Fellowship of the Ring on the first leg of their journey and finds herself falling for the kindhearted prince who she had refused to marry in years past. As personal obligations collide with desires of the heart, difficult choices will have to be made.
Disclaimer: sadly, anything that belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien or Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema is not mine. Altariel, Celebrindal and Morchaint are my original characters. Also, any song lyrics and photos used in this story belong to their respective creators.
This story is tentatively rated PG-13 for some violence and thematic elements. Also, this story assumes that the reader is at least somewhat familiar with the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
