Life has always sucked for Ashlie Devyn Rossi. She's 16, doesn't have many friends, and is being bounced around from one crappy foster home to another, with some stints on the streets in between. Ashlie always thought the universe must have hated her because after one particularly bad beating from her drunk foster father, Ashlie packed her stuff and ran only to be killed by a drunk driver a few days later. Ashlie hated that she was killed by a drunk driver, of all things, but she also figured she would finally get to be at peace. Only that didn't happen. Instead she woke up as Ashlie Devyn Forbes, sister of none other than Caroline Forbes from the Vampire Diaries, a TV show Ashlie would watch to escape her crappy reality.

Ashlie found herself reborn into the Vampire Diaries universe before the first season even started. Even with all the blood, death, and supernatural creatures, Ashlie figured she would still enjoy this life better than her last......and just maybe she could change things that happen and make it even better.
