Computer sounds could be heard from every angle, a few coughs and sniffs every now and then were heard. In one of the cubicles was a lanky man slouching in his seat as he stared at his computer screen. Is this really my life? He thought as he continued to stare, his eyes finally led to the drawer in his desk. Grandpa's letter, he didn't know this day would come so soon but maybe he needs to open his letter, maybe his life needed to change.

heyy! so this is my first fanfic, i'm honestly writing this for fun and i don't really care if it doesn't get any attraction but if it does i'll appreciate it!. Just a little heads up, the farmer is a guy and his main love interest is shane. This story has mentions of depression, suicide, alcoholism, and dealing with grief. This story will most likely be a slow burn and obviously shane will be an asshole at first.
