Cricket is a high school dropout going nowhere fast. She lives with her high school friend, Harlow, in a tiny apartment but at least it's better than the trailer parks she grew up in. Her toxic ex, Jude, wants her back desperately and won't leave her alone, and she's deeply unhappy with her job as a bartender at a tavern frequented by Dungeons and Dragons larpers.

March is an optimistic do-gooder on his way to Redwood University to start his master's degree. He's got a scholarship and an internship with the university's climate change research lab. He's far from home but quickly makes friends with his mysterious new classmate. He misses his two triplet brothers deeply, but he still feels like the world is at his fingertips.

They can't help but feel drawn to each other, but is he too sweet for her?

But Monica McCaslin didn't think she would ever be one of those people, would ever have one of those moments. Brought up in a small suburb, with everything she could ever ask for, there wasn't much left for her to want. Monica's ordinary life was to go as such- follow her high school sweetheart to college, graduate, get married, have two kids; the cookie cutter life. White picket fence included. What she did not expect was to meet a dark-haired stranger sitting all alone on a park bench, at that very same school she was to attend with said future husband. After a brief conversation, just a handful of words between them, Monica decides to go on a cross-country road trip with him; putting her faith and future in the hands of a stranger. Thinking she'd soon regret her decision and the life she left behind, she realizes she doesn't at all. Free of expectation and a future that she thought was set in stone, she begins to find the woman she was truly meant to be. State by state, with each border they cross, Monica liberates her true self. π”Ήπ• π• π•œ βžƒ 𝕠𝕗 βžƒ - β„‚π• π•žπ•‘π•π•–π•₯𝕖 - ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ This is a work of fiction. Romeo and Juliet

69 parts Ongoing Mature

SHORT CHAPTERS, Update (I thought this was going to be a short story, really, but Romeo and Juliet have other things in mind.) ------ He rips my phone from my hand again and puts it behind him. "Tell me how it works then." "We have to kiss." He looks at me for a few seconds, then grins. I recognize that smile. He's thinking of something mischievous. "A kiss?" "What? Are you worried of kissing me?" His hand swiftly finds the back of my head. A slight tug on my hair and a swift lean in for a kiss leaves me breathless. But breath seems unnecessary. His tongue invades my mouth with a rough yet skilled dance, leading me onto his lap. My hands explore his body, tracing the contours of his chest and arms. ----------------------- Dive into the exhilarating world of Romeo and Juliet as they elevate the game to unprecedented heights. As the reigning players of their school, they're mirror images of each other, identical in spirit but divided by gender. They embark on a daring test of wits and wills against each other. Will they emerge victorious or descend into a battle so fierce they might just claw their eyes out? Ps: This is story has nothing to do with Thank you, Romeo. In fact, this inspired Thank you, Romeo.
