A devout heart meets a daemon's cunning - what could possibly go wrong? All Maeve has ever known is her hometown of Pilvere, a small village, where the fear of damnation simmers within the hearts of its villagers. Yet fate, in the form of the dæmon Azaran, challenges her at every turn. Trapped in the inexorable grip of destiny, Maeve finds her path diverging from her own expectations. Lies unravel, and truths are laid bare. Caught between faith and temptation, Maeve faces a tantalising choice: will she yield to the seductive call of darkness, or will she defy the gods' and forge her own destiny? Trigger warnings: themes of violence, abuse, mental health (anxiety, emotional distress), sexual content (explicit scenes/references), isolation and alienation (feelings of being marginalised or excluded) included.

L is the 'villain' that reigned in tyranny for over 300 years. Finally, one day, she was captured and killed. At least that's popular knowledge. L is alive, though restrained. And what happens when another threat threatens the world? Well...it seems you ask the previous threat to fight it for you. ........... Places are burned to the ground. Strange symbols are found. Magic is getting stolen. And L's the one who needs to discover the culprit. With the help of heroes-in-the-making and some old allies, L will travel to the Demon realm, where a new Demon King has appeared. He also happens to be the main suspect. But first, L has to regain control of her magic(that went mad), the heroes-to-be have to get trained (they're kids) and the militaries have to find out who the spy is (yes, there's a spy).
