Alexandra "Alex" Mathews, the daughter of Jeanine Mathews - the leader of Erudite - is now coming the age where everyone has their choosing ceremony. The girl knew exactly where she was going, Dauntless, the home of the warriors.

Nobody would think an Erudite, someone whom was at the top of her classes would want to leave. Especially not when there was a high chance she could make leadership. But when Alexandra leaves and joins Dauntless, she has everybody's eyes on her at all times.
