This is sorta just a fan-story I may or may not finish.

This story ties both the original lore of ROR2 and some of my head canons together, so don't expect hyper-accuracy to the og game. This is just my spin on it.

The Story
Years after the events of Risk of Rain 1, a distress signal is received from the dangerous yet vibrant planet that is Petrichor V. Heeding this, the UESC re-hires a famous, retired captain to command the UES Safe Travels ship to aid in a great and perilous expedition to find this signal and retrieve anything of value. Mutiple mercenaries, bounty hunters and scoundrels from across the galaxy are hired to do the job, some old faces, and some new. Will the crew of misfits ensure a successful mission, or will they all die horribly to the horrors that awaits them on this beautiful yet dangerous planet?

Let this be on hell of a ride.
