Lightning McQueen - The name known across the country. You can't forget his name and he wouldn't let you if you tried. The debonair and mercilessly handsome up-and-coming rookie racer, Lightning, is aiming for the stars and not backing down. While some might say his pride and flamboyance are a hindrance to his racing he only sees them as strengths, meant to propel him to the top. But after an astonishing three-way tie at the Piston Cup race, he has to push himself to prove his worth. But things don't go according to plan. A crazy night out with his friends, an old rickety town forgotten by Hell itself, and a whole bunch of legally binding repairs stops this racer in his tracks. He must find a way to get free and back into training. He has a race to get to and a spotlight to catch - he simply WILL NOT let himself be forgotten...Not like this 'almost dust' town on Highway 66. *** This story is 'human-bent' all characters have been turned human and in order to make that possible a lot of things have been altered and some scenes changed to accommodate that. Chloe is a 9 year old girl in Creek of Angels Orphanage. Her parents died when she was only a baby. The crazy guard of the orphanage, Mrs Nelson, abuses Chloe for her own pleasure. Chloe does chores and stays in her room everyday. She doesn't get to have fun like the other kids. For years she has been adopted, but also brought back. The families only wanted her for slave reasons. Chloe loves to watch the Piston Cup races and watch her favorite racer, Lightning McQueen. Once she hears that he's coming to her orphanage to adopt, she prays that he'll be the one. The one who would be her hero to save her from this prison. Her prayers come true; she's adopted by McQueen. But Mrs Nelson threatened that if Chloe ever came back, she would suffer the consequences. Will Chloe love her new life? Or will she be brought back and spend the rest of her life suffering and rotting in an orphanage?Complete

While traveling to California for the dispute of the final race of the Piston Cup racing season against The King and Chick Hicks, the famous Lightning McQueen and Braedey 'Bolt McQueen' Martin, accidentally damage the road of the small town called Radiator Springs, and the two are sentenced to repair it. Lightning McQueen and Braedey Martin have to work hard and find friendship and even love in the simple locals of Radiator Springs, changing its values during their stay in the small town, and becoming a true winner, and telling us that there's more to the race than just the finish line. A/N: this is to pay tribute to the great Paul Newman (the voice of Doc Hudson), who passed away sadly. The 'Cars' characters belong to Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. I only own my OC characters.Complete
