Viola Campbell isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but she's very good at things. So when she and 2 of her siblings are invited to a house, and end up being trapped, Viola is expecting the worst.
But that's not all, apparently she's supposed to lead the Good Team as the Detective. She's not even great at clues. But when she finds her long-lost childhood friend Miguel, it's no surprise she's motivated. But troubles for her are deeper than the morality of the other kids there.

Fifteen Markers receive an invitation to a mysterious gathering, signed by an anonymous writer. The letter states that the event is a deduction game - fun and harmless. All invitees decide to go anyway, what's the harm? Later on, everything seems fine. Sure, the creepy and broken-down demeanor of the House is slightly misleading, but the host gives off a light-hearted mood, speaking excitedly through the PA speakers. It makes everything better... Until the lights go off. Backstabbing, betrayal, murder, and drama occurs. The worst part is, the host doesn't seem to care if anyone's being killed off - at least, not as much as the actual participants do. When it comes to the final four, everything becomes more serious.
