▪️The promise ▪️

The war had been going on for years. Between an ocean there were two countries, a kingdom of Narivett whose king and queen were loved by the people. They ruled the country fairly and lovingly. But on the other side of the sea, in the kingdom of Meredith there was a king with hatred in his heart.

In the kingdom of Meredith which was filled with brimstone and coal, there was a king who ruled with an iron fist. But one dark night when his child was about to be born, his beloved queen died. The king lifted his son from his queen's cold arms. He showed him off to his people and named him Phoenix after the god of the dark lands. The king made a promise to his god that he would make his son king. Not just over his kingdom, but the kingdom that was over the sea. He looked down at his son and stroked his head with the dark sulfur.

On the other side of the sea, there was a kingdom called Nariviett. This kingdom was filled with the purest water and mountains that were filled with gold. Five years after the dark son had been born, the queen gave the country a daughter, the king was overjoyed and they named their daughter Lilly. Lilly was the country's new gift. The king gave their god Athena a promise that he will try to win this war so that his beloved Lilly could live her life in peace, beyond violence.

But the war still remained between the two countries, in the middle of the sea they continued the violent war. The King of Nariviett tried to find a solution so they could have peace between the two kingdoms. But it was in vain, because a king with darkness in his heart intended to carry out his plan.
