Beginning in 2012 I fell in love with the art of dance and all it has to offer, however throughout the years of dancing I realized how quickly an environment once so loved could become toxic and hurtful. From my perspective as a figure skater, ex-ballerina, and sports-lover, I bring you a collection of sports essays focused on how these environments can become toxic, violent, lonely, and joyful.
