"GLIMPSES..." is the story of all the stories my work involved: the who, what, when, where, why, and how of people I met, our society's attitudes, my networks, lessons learned, mistakes made, many good times and some very bad ones. I hope to reveal how it felt to be a Canadian worker from the 1950s until about 2000, to provide perspective on why those years were the way they were, and perhaps offer clues as to how they led us to Now. (Note that chapters become shorter as the tale grows longer.)
