As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I was very disappointed in the depth of the story of the Sequels. The characters both new and old felt so shallow, and for a few years now, I have been building my own retelling of the basic story of the prophesied Force Dyad. Enjoy!

Thirty years after the demise of Darth Vader, the world has changed dramatically. The First Order rules much of the Galaxy, and a young Sith is climbing to power. 

A young scavenger on Jakku finds herself thrown into a world she stayed blissfully unaware of in her old life, discovering her true origins, ability with the Force, and the depths that the rabbit hole of darkness goes.

Really, like I can't believe just how much it turned out to be compared to what I had in mind at first. A lot of the story follows canon. The biggest difference is there is no Rey. No hate to the character, she just doesn't fit into this retelling!
