Catalina Montserrat Castillo isn't your average 14 year old girl. Prior to her mother's death she was a bubbly kid with a permanent smile. When she wasn't stealing bases in the baseball diamond she was at home baking or singing with her mother. Her mother was her rock and best friend but after her death Catalina was passed around from foster home to foster home. Without a relative to claim her she came to terms with the fact she was destined to live out her days home to home until her 18th birthday.
