ENGLISH VERSION

Princess Flora, despite being the only legitimate daughter of the king and queen of Bandohr and having inherited immense power from the Dragon's fire, was not accepted by the king's advisors to be the heir to the throne. So he decided to prove that he was capable of inheriting the throne even though he was a woman and went on a long journey with his most faithful knight Benjamin Carter. Which was also his first Love.

As you would have promised many years ago to always protect the Princess, it was very easy to choose to accompany her on her journey even if you had to leave your sick mother alone with your newly married younger sister. Any choice involving the princess was an easy choice to make since he had been blinded by love for her since he was a child. He always knew that he would never have a chance with her, despite the difference in social classes, so he decided that he would become her personal knight and protect her from everything and everyone, and when the day came for her to get married, he would quietly accept seeing her if devote to another man.

He was ready, and she was ready too. None of them discovered that that trip would be so difficult, not having anyone who prevented them from getting closer made their hearts suffer a lot with the idea of returning to the palace.

They took her. That's the last thing that burns in my mind, at least the most important thing that can come to mind. Everyone knew her, she was a sacred gem to the royals, her name was Tori LightningFlame. A dutchess soon to be married to Prince Spectre. That's how we all knew her, not how she used to roam through the walls of the city without permission (although I'm sure I only remember that), not how she would dance around the ballroom in her father's shoes with her friends until dawn. Everyone simply thought of her as a kind and generous person who would someday be our queen. But one day, Spectre thought differently, all I saw was when she was binded and screaming for help on the back of a horse driven carriage, guards yelling at her to quiet down or she would be burned. There was much talk arising in the lands after that day, some say she was taken and burned to her death miserably, others who speak the truth in our quaint town say she was taken away and cursed upon, making her a monster and could only thrive in her own world. Then we only believed that she was out of our lives and it was against the written laws to speak of her unless given permission. Even today, no one has spoken of her to me. And no one ever will. Possibly. When I was younger I heard most of the talk about Tori and Spectre being a stable boy, but it wasn't enough for me, I wanted a better job, I wanted to hear more about them, I wanted to be important there. So everyday for the past five years I've begged. And begged. And begged my father to let me at least attempt to become a squire. Ever since my tenth birthday I had hoped and wished for the day he would finally accept my plead. Every beck and call of mine was given in every form possible. Until one day he finally agreed. The day of my fifteenth birthday. It was an extraordinary day, one I could never forget.

23 parts Complete Mature
After a night of wonder under flowers and fireworks, Penelope Featherington thought she was on top of the world. Things seemed to go perfectly for once in her life. Until, her best friend discovers something she's been hiding for years. And to top it all off she overhears a conversation she was never meant to hear. And for the first time in her life Penelope truly feels like she's alone in the world. Penelope must look inside herself and decide once and for all if she will continue her usual wallflower ways or if it's time for her to step into the spotlight and claim the life she has always dreamed of having. Colin Bridgerton was, in his own estimation, perfectly happy being single. He enjoyed the occasional dance with the beautiful debutantes and his charming ways lead him to be quite a flirt. However he knew deep down it meant nothing. He was not in search of a wife, in fact he wasn't even ready to entertain the idea of finding one. He did however find himself involved in a rather deep and genuine friendship with one, Miss Penelope Featherington. But when his own foolish remarks threaten to ruin there relationship forever, he must decide whether he can let her go or if there is maybe something he hadn't seen in her before. Could Prince Charming (or rather Mr. Charming) truly set aside his rakish ways for one wallflower? Or will the secrets she's hiding tear them even farther apart? What happens when a wallflower blossoms?

Together, they will have to deal with mages, fight dragons, and face windigos. Follow them as they learn more about each other, and learn to look past their deferences to accomplish their goals and save the kingdom. Firstly, a huge thanks to my friend Sophia (@sopheyyis or @B1ashe) for drawing the cover. She is an amazing artist, go follow her on instagram and tik toc because she is the best. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. I will publish at least once a week Now with that out of the way, I just wanna say, hope ya enjoy the story. Have a great day and keep being your amazing you!
