Aelora Targaryen, known as "The Golden Child," was born of secrets and trained as a hidden weapon. Raised amidst prophecies and held back by her family's ambition, fire, and blood, she lived a life shrouded in mystery. Across the realm, Benjicot Blackwood, feared and known as "Bloody Ben," bore his own bloody reputation.

Amid the Targaryen war for the throne, a hasty decision was made to arrange a marriage between Aelora Targaryen and Benjicot Blackwood, seeking to gain support from House Blackwood and secure more allies should the conflict between Rhaenyra and Aegon Targaryen escalate. The Blacks proposed their only daughter to Benjicot Blackwood to ensure unwavering loyalty of House Blackwood to the queen and her rightful claim to the throne.

Aelora suddenly found herself entangled in a web of political machinations and power struggles, forced into an uneasy arranged marriage that could decide the fate of her family.

"If I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all. But when I say 'I love you', it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Alicent." ~ Geralt Targaryen "The dream...it was clearer than a memory. And I heard the sound of thundering hooves, splintering shields and ringing swords. And I placed my heir upon the Iron Throne, and all the dragons roared as one." ~King Viserys Targaryen "When I'm Queen, I will create a new order." ~ Rheanyra Targaryen "How sweetly the fox speaks when it's been cornered by the hounds." ~ Alicent Hightower "Queen Margaery and I are forever bound by duties to the realm. We both warm the King's bed and ride his cock. Yet only one of us is a Mother." ~ Queen Jocelyn Darklyn "Think for yourself. It'll save you a lifetime of heartbreak." ~ Yennefer Martell "Dreams didn't make us kings. Dragons did." ~Daemon Targaryen THE HEART OF A DRAGON tells the tale of two best friends torn apart by men in their lives. It also includes their political alliances and especially the civil war between the Greens and Blacks. The war between two siblings, torn between marriage and love, however, their history forms the core of House of The Dragon. Geralt's choice to marry Alicent Hightower and Daemon's attraction to Rhaenyra instigated most of the events that shaped their lives forever. Every character's ideas of marital unions and love are vastly different from each other, giving rise to insightful and memorable impact, thereby causing a division of civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. Dragon Princess || Aegon II Targaryen

28 parts Ongoing

To some, she was just another princess who was kind, generous and had ethereal beauty. To the smallfolk, she was a dream and too good to share blood with the fuckers who rule Westeros and disgraced their lives. To Aegon, she was the love of his life. But the truth was Rhaenys Targaryen was the embodiment of the fire of Old Valyria. Gifted by the Old Gods of Valyria, Rhaenys possessed a unique bond with dragons. In fact, by the age of three and ten, she had already bonded with two dragons, a hacthling and others to come. Some whispered that she couldn't be burned, while others believed she couldn't bear children like any other woman. Some believe she was the embodiment of dragons herself. But neither Old or New Gods could predict or protect her from becoming one of the most significant players in the Dance of Dragons, the demise of dragons.
