Mitch's dad told him long ago his life was decided by the point of a gun. Even if he tried to run away from it, his past would come back and he'd be under the same pressure, the same exhilaration that he felt when he was younger. He had scoffed, determined that he'd leave his past behind him and continue a new life under the radar.
