After graduating middle school with honors, Cosette faces growing pressure from her family and the expectations surrounding her future, especially after choosing the HUMSS track against her mother's wishes. It causes tension at home, leading to a deal that ties her freedom to choose her own path that now depends on becoming valedictorian.

In senior high, Cosette struggles to adjust and finds herself in an unexpected rivalry with Caelus, whose presence both challenges her and slowly changes the way she sees success and connection.
