[STARDEW VALLEY FANFICTION] Ever since I started at Joja, it seems like everything is pointless. I keep Grandpa's letter in my desk drawer, and everyday, I contemplate opening it, but I remember his words: "Don't open it until you are sure there is nothing else to keep you going." And this was it. The ridiculous "age wage" joja used to base payroll off of, was killing me. I was running down to my last bit of savings rapidly.

Life on Sandy farm
This story is somewhat based off of my farmer "Willow", when they moved into Stardew Valley with their mother, and younger brother ("M" (mom) and "B" (bro)). They (Willow) wanted to move out of the city to get away from them, but... They didn't have much of a say when it came to them (The family) coming along... They wanted to get out of the city as well, and their grandfather's letter was the only way to do it at the time... (Do I always just take whatever stories I happen to have in my head and dump them into Google Docs? YES! Is this why my stories usually seem to make no sense? Double YES!) (WARNING! Slight mentions of blood in chapter 4.) (There's a lot of POV changes in this story.) (A little info about farmer Willow: They have selective mutism and social anxiety, and they're only able to talk to people if they know 100% that they can trust them. This is why they can usually only be seen talking to their mom and brother. they're not very fond of them sometimes, but they're able to let their guard down around them... Most of the time.) (There's not really much to be said about M and B. They're just kinda... There.) (The story kinda 'slowly' starts to become Seb x Farmer as it goes along... So, that's a thing.) (Edit: It is VERY... Seb x Farmer... So, there's that.) When she thought of her life as an artist, Aisleigh thought it would be absolutely divine. Her years at school did not prepare her, however, for the amount of work she would have to do getting herself "out there". Feel bogged down living in Zuzu City, she comes across an old letter left by her grandfather. Without a second thought, Aisleigh quickly quits her job at Joja Corporation and moves out to the countryside to her grandfather's farm, Ebony Acres. But, something about his distant personality only makes her think about him more. Her first crush is the easy-going, adorably clueless skateboarder, Sam, who she runs into on her very first full day in the valley. Sam is everything Stella is not, and maybe he's what she needs-someone to counteract her melancholic, reclusive personality. But when she meets his dark haired, moody and pessimistic friend Sebastian, who is the complete opposite of Sam, she becomes enthralled with him, wanting to crack through his tough exterior to see what lies beneath. Sebastian is everything she wants, but knows she doesn't need. She knows how he is, because she is the same way. He's like a carbon copy of herself and that only intrigues her more. She knows he's like poison, but the way he makes her feel becomes like an addiction.
