Welcome to "My Daily Devotion," a heartfelt collection inspired by my personal reflections and spiritual encounters with God. In this book, I share my intimate moments of devotion, exploring how God continues to speak to us today through His timeless Word, the Bible. God Knows You By Name
A random journal/blog/diary with poems and lyrics, many about NAMES - my name, your name, and other names. Also, a diary of journeys we go on in our thoughts, actions, deeds, and beliefs. The genre 'Random' fits this work perfectly. The idea for sharing comfort from one's name began on May 17th, 2018, with the confirmation that I have cancer and needed more surgery and perhaps on-going treatment. How to Find Purpose and Peace: Why Am I Here?
Why am I here? What is my purpose? What is the meaning of life? Why am I alive? It seems that since the dawn of time we have been asking ourselves this very question. Kings and philosophers have puzzled and theorized, and paupers and plebeians toil under the sun wondering if there's more to life. Even today we seem to be frantically running here or there trying to get the latest scoop, wondering if someone has finally figured it out. People look high and low, and they try a number of things only to still feel unhappy and dissatisfied. In my own life, the only thing that has made me truly happy and given me peace for my soul is God. He has been the chief help in combating my anxiety and depression. It's You Again God
Sometimes life can get so hectic that we fail to stop, take a breath and just be still. For years I have been committed to having a quiet time each day where I read the Bible and talk to God about what is on my heart, which has been really wonderful but it just struck me today as I began my quiet time that I need to take more time to LISTEN when God is trying to speak to me. When I am more open to Him leading my quiet time, it's so much better! God has so much He wants to say, so much He wants to teach me. The strenght of the gods lies in their powers, there weapons is useless without their power, and powers varies in gods according to their gifts, abilities, wisdom, knowledge and understanding on how to use them. More Importantly, the shelve life of the powers of the gods is factored on their connection with JEHOVA through is son JESUS. He has given his only begotten Son JESUS all the powers in heaven, on earth and under the earth; that at the mention of the name JESUS, every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that JESUS is Lord of things in heaven, of thing on earth and of things under the earth.
