Only Ocean

This story takes place in the early 1700s, during the golden age of piracy. Young 17 year old Annabella Privelle has been living on the streets from the time she was 12. Brought to desperation for money, food, and a place to sleep each night, she takes a last-resort job as a bartender in a pub on the bad side of town, the only one that will accept her. Her life only goes downhill from there. Then, one night, infamous pirate Joshua Blue pillages the town. When Anna comes face-to-face with Joshua himself, she isn't sure whether her life has just gotten worse, or whether it's about to come to an abrupt ending. Joshua hasn't felt anything for anyone for many years. When Annabella comes into his life, will he let his fear get the best of him and end her life, or will he give in to the feelings so long disguised under his tough exterior?
