Living in the busy city of Boston, Samy Meyers who is a 17 year old girl, finds herself going to a high school event with her younger brother Zane who she is forced to bring along. Her brother doesn't often get along with her due to her lack of presence. Samy is a careless teen girl who has been dealing with some un-controlling problems of hers lately. Because of this, it has led to her loved ones distrusting her and becoming distant. Samy doesn't know how she can fix this problem of hers, or even herself. During the event, something unimaginably horrifying occurs. All of a sudden, she witnesses people getting eaten and torn apart by 'sick' deranged people. The entire school campus is turned to bloodshed. A switch goes off in her head when she sees the chaos unfold, there is only one thought that enters her mind. And that is to protect her little brother Zane no matter what.... Travis, Darcie, Dawson, Tori, Leo, Levi, Kaylie, Hunter, and Anthony have no business knowing each other, let alone being a team. But during a zombie apocalypse, when you get desperate, you're desperate. When you're out of options, you need to do what you need to do to survive every day. Sometimes, it might not always be ideal. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete.
