This story is a highschool love story . Shayne and Lance, two high school kids. The characters in the story have experienced fragmentation due to their individual traumas and challenges, such as sexual abuse, self-harm, OCD, and their LGBT identities.
The title implies that through love and connection, they begin to piece together their broken parts, finding wholeness and healing in their relationships. It reflects the journey of coming together and finding strength and unity in their shared experiences.
