Confusing Love in the Academy

“Yeah. I mean – no! No!” I said mortified. “Just leave them be. I can take care of them. They’re just like you. Jerks.”

“I’m not like them.” Yuki disagreed shaking his head. “I give you the respect you deserve and I also know my limits when messing with you. I don’t want to see you hurt.”

I was stunned by his comment and stared at him in his warm chocolate eyes hoping to find some mischief in them but all I saw was an intense stare lined with concern and… love? Of course love. We’re best friends, remember? But the thought of Yuki loving me made me blush. I don’t even know why. This issue is not really a big deal before. We always say ‘I love you’ to each other and… oh…. I remembered something. We exchanged not only I love you’s but kisses as well. Back when we were five year olds.

As I stared in front, I saw the blonde hit on Vie. It looks like that while Marie is flirting with me, blondie there is flirting with Vie too. My fist clenched and Maria gave me a confused look. I quickly unclenched it and remembered that I’m not her boyfriend to get jealous.

Situation:
It never occured to bestfriends Yuki and Victoriette that there are more unknown things in the world that existed. And what's worse is that "they" just live behind Victoriette's house and were invited to attend their school. And what is this weird thing on going with Yuki towards Victoriette? Sure he loves her as her bestfriend. But what if there is more to it? And if there is, what would Victoriette's reaction would be?
