Maxie isn't Spider-man. She's really not. That title belongs to her best friend; Pearson Michael Parker-Leeds. But ever since Pearson's death two years ago, it's been her job to use the family genes to protect New City, which is slowly but surely shrinking under the expanding Radioactive region.
Oh yeah, did she mention that she's from the future, approx. 200 years later, in post-apocalyptic America?

Peter Parker is in Hell's Kitchen this time, helping the other two thirds of Team RED locate a child trafficking ring. Mid-fight, a young girl comes crashing in. She doesn't look like she's slept in a week, and there's something weird about her. Like the fact that she just used a dozen sharp feathers, coloured in alternating shades of gold and brown, to kill an entire line of henchmen.
