Before the princess and the cook, there was a farmer and a rebel...

Join the episodic adventures of Aaron Storm and Allèfar Leaftail as they try to keep a mysterious stone out of the clutches of the villainous Gnorc commander, Talron.

This is one of my earliest attempts at bringing together a story. It was created in my early teens, so be warned, the writing is a little bit clunky.
As you'll see, this is a LittleBigPlanet adventure I made some time ago but never got a chance to publish before the servers were shut down. It will take the form of sixteen 10-30 minutes videos with a little bit of behind-the-scenes writing attached.

I'm not sure if this will intrest anyone, seeing as it's not technically a book. But if nothing else, it provides a glimpse of what inspired The Dragon Princess and the Cook, along with previously unseen parts of the Shattered Isle.

In a small village, half hidden along a mountainside, Kieren was slinking between shadows. Footsteps sure even with so little moonlight. The softest brush of bare skin against knobbled and far-reaching trees. Not even a whisper of sound from stepping on the coarse dirt beneath his feet. In this world, Drakes were the epitome of power amongst the species. Only making up 10% of the population, humans making up the other 90%. Drakes could be found in the highest positions of power in communities or in positions to protect others (such as guards, watchmen, knights, patrolman). No one questioned this, dragons taking care of their own. A private species with traditions and rules that only dragons were privy to. Making sure none over-reached so that there would always be peace and harmony amongst the dragon territories and between humans. A symbiosis that all worked hard to maintain. Humans were born with vibrant and colorful hair throughout the world. The more rare the color, the more blessings, respect, luck and riches came to them. Fiery red, leafy green, aqua blue. Eyes that matched their brightest feature. Dressing in the same colors or even brighter shades to demonstrate their extravagance, their standing in society. They normally worked side by side with the higher ranking dragons, helping to keep harmony. All Kieren knew was that he would have to remain cloaked, face obscured at all times. The villagers said he was a defect, so they made him their servant. His skin too pale. Form too slight. Eyes not right. An ugly thing where he should be thankful they did not kill him right away. To be grateful for their pity and staying their hand. The worst, they would tell him, was about the coloring of his features; his hair and eyes. It was a color that had never been seen before amongst humans or dragons. *Please read tags! Don't like, don't read, don't leave unhelpful nasty comments.
The lost prince by AineMax

"It is time for you to find a suitable lady to marry, don't you think?", my mother comments. Our feast has nearley started and I have already had enough. "Not something I occupy myself thinking about.", I comment, not sure if the told lie was for her, or for me. "Stark girl is looking for a husband. Talissa, if I remember correctly. I think she would be a good fit for you.", she persists and I chuckle, "A good fir for me yet you barely know her name." She opens her mouth to speak but I decide to put a stop to this annoying conversation, "A wife is something I do not need nor desire at this moment. If my dearest sister becomes queen my martial status will be the last thing to keep you up at night." My mother looks at me, "That won't happen, I assure you." Helaena touches mothers hand, taking her attention away from me. I tab my middle finger on the wooden table a few times, lifting my eye to find the person that has been, to my discomfort, taking a fraction of my mind lately. She's talking to Damon, a smile painted across her face as she rests her chin on her hand, carefully listening to him talking. It took some time before her eyes swiftly shifted from his face to mine and the realization of me looking made her drop her arm and straighten up in her seat. My attention made her visibly nervous. Few moments later she stood up and, without thinking, my body did the same. I start walking, making sure I don't loose her in the crowd. I am playing a dangerous game but it is something I simply can not seem to resist. ***** When Damon Targen finds an old broken amulet at his deceased grandmothers house, he asks his friend and co-worker Emma for help in finding more about it, but what they discover will lead them down the complicated path of his family tree and history, eventually getting them trapped in a world they know little about ...a world where war is about to break out and every small move you make decides if you will live or die.

Book One is finally complete, please look forward to Book Two, The Chronicles of Arnora: The Zemorian Invasion! Thousands of years ago there was a great war between the powers of light and darkness. The army of good had defeated the powers of evil, however darkness doesn't truly die.... Now thousands of years later that evil has returned to finish what it started all those years ago. The hope of saving the world now rests on the shoulders of one young man. Can he stop this evil before it rises again? Or will the darkness snuff out the light and reign supreme? Find out in the first exciting installment of The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon! My story takes place on a alternate Earth, in the fictional realm of Arnora. A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

*UNDERGOING EDITING AND SMALL CHANGES RANKED #1 IN #DADSBESTFRIEND TROPE My gaze was fixed on Weston, wanting to look away so he didn't see me but unable to, and so when he whipped his head in my direction, he looked me square in the eyes. I was painfully aware of how I was sitting on Dego's lap, his arm around my waist, mine around his neck. I couldn't move, couldn't breathe, and he didn't either for several time stopping seconds. Then he slowly took a step in my direction, and kept walking until he was standing directly in front of Dego and I. •~•~•~•~•~•~••~~• Two years ago Avery Blackwood's father met and married a demure Sunday school teacher, who, within a matter of months, spent his entire savings and completely wiped out everything he'd done over the years, wrapping up the whole thing by having an affair. Her father divorced the woman, but it was too late to save the families finances, and before they could even begin to get back on their feet, Daniel Blackwood is deployed to the middle east, leaving Avery with her wealthy cousins to try and acclimate to an environment foreign to the one she was raised in. The pressure builds until Avery makes the choice to leave, her destination over halfway across the country; her brothers ranch in southeastern Colorado. The only obstacles-she has fifty dollars to her name and no car, and her controlling aunt standing in the way. Influenced by a childhood of war and action movies, Avery, armed with a bowie knife and determination, simply heads out the back door and doesn't look back. She isn't expecting her envisioned trek across America to end so soon; a chance meeting with a family friend and neighbor who feels responsible for his friends daughter causes her to alter her plans. Within the few days she is with Weston Travers, she falls for him, and falls hard, but falling in love with someone ten years her senior may not have the fairytale ending every girl dreams about.
