Phoebe Davis is exactly like her mother, Autumn Davis, personality-wise, but is the spitting image of her father. After the death of Finny, Autumn has raised her daughter solo with only the help of The Mothers, but has decided not to tell Phoebe the truth about Finnys' death until she turns sixteen---which is only a few months away.
Though when Phoebe finds the manuscript of the book her mother wrote, along with her journals, everything unfolds--terribly. Heartbroken, confused, and upset, Phoebe flees with the first person she can find...which just so happens to be her childhood nemesis, Nathan Hallows.
