"I'm not going to hurt you." Milo expressed, sincerely. "Why would you think that?"

"That's what coyotes do." She murmured, lowering her eyes to the ground.

Two very different people, each secretly trying to navigate through their troubled lives.

On the surface his life is perfect. He's popular, talented, and the girls can't help but want him. But his home life is a disaster, and no one besides his close friends, actually know who he really is. He's not entirely sure, himself.

She's new, and she's not happy about the circumstances that led her to change schools. Her past is complicated, and has led her to trust no one. Her secrets are kept behind a shield of anger, sarcasm, and eyeliner.

He's unexplainably drawn to her like a magnet, and can't stay away. He wants to show her that she'll be safe with him, and she begins to fill something missing inside of him. She discovers that he can help her in a way she never thought possible. But their insecurities, fears, and opposite status, interfere with their connection.
