A maelstrom of chaos has erupted beyond comprehension after the events of the Sokovia Accords. Terrorist groups reforming, crime rates peaked in a short span of time, old enemies resurfacing, and riots and protests involving mutants and humans.

But that's not the only problem the Avengers will soon have to face. A new enemy, hiding within the shadows, has emerged-an enemy seeking revenge for all they lost. Tangled in this powerful enemy's web, the Avengers must find a way to band together before their world perishes in the hands of their new foe.
