BOOK 1 ShadowClan and RiverClan had been at war with each other for years, and at the peak of the bloody fights, three kits were born. Born to a dead mother and father, the only affection these kits had took form in the cold medicine cat of ShadowClan, Clearfrost, an illusion that broke like smooth water. Things only got worse as they grew. Their relationship with each other morphed colder and more brittle as they themselves changed, each struggling to survive the war in the only way they knew how. However, with rivalries, forbidden friendships, war, and a prophecy looming over them, everything unfolded to be much more complex than intended, bringing information they may have never wanted to learn. She discovers a prophecy that depicts a heroic orange cat, one who will defeat the rising darkness of their rival Clan. But when things don't go according to plan, Foxpool must team up with her leader, Turtlestar, and her warrior friend, Rosethorn, to go where no waking cat has gone before: the forests of StarClan. But all friendships have cracks, and those between these three cats might just be big enough to cause the downfall of their Clan.

Three well known cats within the forest, all with very different fates. Learn just how Riverstar earned her place as AshClan's leader, and what drove Echoheart down a dark and violent path of revenge.
