Dan is a new Sophomore at his high school and it's half way through the year. He knows nobody and nobody knows him. His past keeps getting into his head and he can't fix it. All he can do to stop his nightmares is read. His closest friend is his English teacher. But one day while sitting alone on the bleachers during school, he meets a tall, dark haired Junior named Phil, who teaches him so many things, from what music to listen to and how to kiss. (if you squint you can see its loosely based on my own experiences at a new school, and the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower because wow. This will most likely be a multiple part phanfic so yeah get ready to feel some stuff. Also yes the title is a radiohead song)
