Raiden is quiet and strict. He is originally from the US. He moved over to japan a year ago after his mother mysteriously died. His new guardian the loudmouthed Present Mic introduced him to his goddaughter. Kukiko is loud and energetic. Tends to look on the bright side of everything. In a simplified fact they are complete opposites. 
     And yet they've spent the entire year being bestfriends and training to become the best heroes. Raiden is determined to protect the girl he sees as a sister in ways he could not protect his mother. But kukiko is determined to save everyone. Even if it means giving her life. When the two get kidnapped by villians along with kukiko's love interest bakugo. It's revealed what happened to her father and who Raidens father is. Both teens struggle with this information. But now raiden is scared because kukiko has a goal thats consuming her. 
       It's to bring back her nomu-tized father. And to put a stop to all for one. Her and her classmate Izuku Midoriya are the only ones who can stop him.
