"Ladies first" she chimes, reaching her hand in swishing it around dramatically. Suddenly her hand stops picking up a singular paper. "Yay!" She cheers walking back to the microphone. "This years' female tribute is.." she pauses leaving the girls on edge.

"Sicily oathes" the name slips out of her mouth proudly.

The victor that year was Cress Bronzetide, a 16 year old girl from District 4. She was an unexpected victor, as her district partner was the favourite to win that year, but she was a victor nonetheless. Her games were quite typical. Twenty four tributes, two from each district. Mentors for the tributes from their respective districts. What was special about her games was what happened outside of the games. What happened with Cress. What happened with Finnick. And what they never spoke of again.
