I walk into the kitchen to get an after school snack for Dani and I when my brother almost runs me over!
"Watch where your going Dylan!" I blurt.
"Sorry, I'm just on the phone with Nash and-"
"Wait did u say Nash?" I interrupt him.
"Yeah I did why?"
"Well I just thought-"
"Sorry sis I gotta go." he says while walking away.
"Yeah I understand." I mutter shrugging to myself.
Who am I kidding, it's not like my brother would ever be friends with the boys of Magcon. That was stupid to even think.
I walk back to my bedroom with a couple of snacks.
As I pass Dylan's room I hear "Dude make sure you tell Hayes to give me my sweater back."
Is he doing this on purpose? He knows I love Magcon. There is NO WAY he is friends with them.He can't be. Out of everyone. It had to be my brother.
"Dani, you wont believe what I heard."

Josh and Katie have been best friends since he first moved nextdoor midway through freshman year. They were attached to the hip and acted like they've known each other for years. Josh Parker was the all American boy who all the girls wanted, including Katie. As Katie and Josh's friendship blossomed she quickly formed a crush on Josh, but as the years progressed, her crush turned into love. Five years after leaving Miami brokenhearted after finding out about Josh's engagement to his childhood sweetheart. Katie unexpectedly reunites with her former best friend, and Josh quickly realizes that his feelings for her are not just platonic anymore. * As I'm walking out of work I get a call from my brother to pick my niece up from school. For the past 4 years that little girl has had me wrapped around her finger and I wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately I got stuck in traffic on the way over so I'm late for pick up. Once I get to Melanie's classroom I fill out the sign out sheet that's on the wall and make my way into the classroom. I faintly hear Melanie laughing so I know she's not upset from me being late. "Hey I'm so sorry. I got stuck in traff..." I said stopping mid sentence, stunned at the woman in front of me. Standing in front of me is someone I considered one of the most important people to me back in highschool. As soon as I looked into those Caribbean blue that I used to know so well, I knew it was her. It takes her a few seconds to realize who I am. She stands there stunned. We continue to stare at each other until she breaks the silence. "Josh?" She asks not believing it's actually me. "Hey Katie girl." Hey...I'm Faith Taylor. I was just entering my freshman year of high school. Whilst doing so, I was starting new activities outside of school, which means new cute boys, right? I often find myself falling into spirals of drama and love, so it's no surprise when I fell into another deck of it. Surprisingly, the thing that changed my world this year were many simple--eh not really--promises. Will I ever find my way to a normal high school life? ••• "Hey," he smiled. "It's cool seeing you somewhere other than tennis for once." "Yeah, you too," I smiled back at Dylan. "By the way...I never properly thanked you for helping Matt back there, so...thanks." "Nothing less for the besties!" I laughed, yet he had a split second of disappointment on his face. Speaking of Matt, things were still kind of iffy from the football game, but as I looked over at Dylan's table, an idea popped into my head. "Hey, do you think my friend and I could sit by you guys?"
