ABOUT 14 YEARS AGO...

Kim Dan quits his job as a physical therapist for Joo Jaekyung. After he went through his heat with Joo Jaekyung, he found out he was pregnant. That scared him, but he didn't want to miscarry. So he decided to stop working with Joo Jaekyung and move out from Seoul with his grandmother who has recovered from her illness. Half of his grandmother's treatment, he has already borne. But the other half of her treatment was already financed by Choi Heesung, the boyfriend of his best friend Hwang Yoon-gu.

Dan was waiting for his daughter, Kim Dasom, to finish her training. She's so into boxing. She joined the team since last year. She has many friends, that make Dan feel proud of his daughter. And there's this one particular girl Dasom keep talking about. And from where he was standing, he can see Dasom talking and standing close to the black hair girl. Dasom pointing her finger to where Dan is standing, which make the black hair girl turn to look at him too. Then they both start walking to his way.

"Hey, eomma. Have you waiting long?" Ask Dasom, hugging her mother which was returned back to her.

"Not really. Just arrived a couple of minutes ago." Said Dan back as they let go of each other.

"I see."

"And who's this?" Ask Dan, pointing at the black hair girl who's standing behind Dasom.

"Oh! Yeah, eomma. This is my junior, Soojin. She's the youngest in our team. And Soojin, this is my mom." Dasom said, now standing beside the black hair girl.

"Hello, Kim shi. My name's Choi Soojin. It's nice to meet you." Said the black hair girl, Soojin who bow her head a little in respect.
