Retribution: The Screenplay by RachelLesch

This is a screenplay adaptation of my story, Retribution. The story takes place in 1930s Paris. The main character is a young girl named Marianne who comes across a half Algerian petty criminal named Augustin. They begin a romance, which Marianne tries to hide from her disapproving guardians. Augustin gets deeply involved with some dangerous character and is roped into being party of a robbery. Marianne has other admirers: Gabriel, a respectable farmer's son who is devoted to her, and Edmond, the wealthy husband of her cousin whose intentions are less than honorable.
