The Resilience: Prequel:
"Alex! Is Jamie coming?"
"No, her mom said she's grounded."
"Hey! What about Mark?"
" Yeah, he'll be here in a minute, Louis."   
       
Five minutes later, Mark pulls up on his shiny red bike that has dull tires. You can tell the bike is used often, even though it still has the new gloss shine on the red paint. 

" Mark, are you ready? Hurry up, I wanna go!"
" Daisy! Hold up!"
       
But, Daisy didn't hear him. She was at a running start and was already halfway to the woods by the time he went over to the boys. She couldn't wait to get to their new hideout. They'd been planning today, and they all agreed. This had to be big. 

" Come on, slowpokes! We need to go already!" Daisy shouted.
" We're the Resilience! Rain isn't gonna hurt us!"
