"Kindness is not wasted on those who don't deserve it," Svasti said sternly. 

"The kindest are the ones who cry out in pain. Are you ready to endure that pain with me?" Vāyu slightly tilted his head, and a smirk formed on his lips.

Vāyu is the Crown Prince of the Great Bṛhadratha Sāmrajya of Magadha. Since the age of seventeen, he mostly went to the wars with his father, Samrāja Vasu, the great emperor of Magadha. 

He had walked a path full of blood and corpses and is the most cruelest and ruthless among all of his ten half brothers. 

Svasti, who is known for her kindness and beauty, is the princess of Ikṣvāku. To save her family from Vāyu's sword, she accepted a marriage alliance proposed by the Emperor of Magadha.

However when her family was massacred on one deadly night, she blamed Vāyu for this. 
Crying blood and tears, she pledged a poisonous vow : "I will bring down the entire Bṛhadratha Sāmrajya."

But how does one destroy an empire when the enemy is not only ruthless, but also your own husband?
