When Emma discovers she can see dead people, she's introduced to a world of shifters, haunted academies, and dark prophecies. Once her life is threatened, she's forced to team up with one of Elmore's elites, Rylan Ryder. But the intense dragon might just be the person she's supposed to be weary of.

________

Emma Richards has a few simple rules to live by for her last year at a new fantastical boarding school. One, do not attract attention. Two, never, ever show interest in the horrifying secrets spilled in the school's gossip columns--'cause yours might be next. Three, stay out of trouble.

And four, try to ignore the brooding, six-feet dragon staring daggers at you from across the school's countless corridors.

Just one hitch. In Elmore academy, the rules are made to be broken.

When a long buried prophecy comes to light and threatens all she and the dragon hold dear, the two unlikely allies would have to stick together, championing through a web of dark secrets, ruthless power struggles and their own forbidden attraction to each other...

Or maybe he had changed his mind from two days ago. I went to pull away, flushing lightly with embarrassment. I didn't get to disconnect our lips before he unfroze and reacted. His grip tightened, his other one going to my hair to hold my head in place as he kissed me back with more intent than I even had started with. My body flushed for a different reason now.
