Melanie Harvoth (25)  Dale's daughter was a doctor in Kings County Hospital when the world went to hell she stayed by Rick's side as he still had a heartbeat she knew how to kill the walkers as she had to kill a few to get food to survive. When he finally wakes up she helps him to understand the situation of what's going on, she decides to help him fins his family as well as find her father. She believes his alive and when she does the next day a certain hot-headed redneck catches her eye
