You are more than ready to start your new life in Tokyo, going to the university of your dreams and living the life you had been anticipating since you first entered middle school, yet fate seems to have other plans. Struggling to secure your own apartment, your mother and aunt step in, arranging for you to stay with Kei. Your childhood friend, that just so happens to study at the same university and moved to Tokyo a year prior. Little did you know, stepping back into Kei's life would leave you caught between two handsome predators: Kuroo Tetsurō, the enigmatic cat with a charming smile that made your legs weak, and Bokuto Kōtarō, the lively owl whose persona is just formidable.
"So, Y/N," Kuroo's voice was low and teasing, sending shivers down my spine, "do you know why we've started calling you 'mouse'?"
I raised an eyebrow, playing along with their game. "I'm curious. Why 'mouse'?"
Bokuto stepped closer, his eyes gleaming mischievously. "Because you're quick and elusive, just like a mouse. Always keeping us guessing."
A slow smile spread across my lips as I felt the heat of their combined gaze on me. "Is that so? And what do two predators like you plan to do with a little mouse like me?"
Kuroo leaned in, his breath warm against my ear as he murmured, "Oh, we might just have to catch you, mouse. Show you how it feels to be caught between a cat and an owl."

"WE'RE HERE!"
Tsukishima leaned forward between the front seats to peer out the window. All he could see was a modest rooftop peeking out from behind a bit of decorative shrubbery at the end of the road. As they got closer, it became clear that this was not the "spacious beach cottage" from the Airbnb listing.
"That's just the garage, right?" he asked, voice hopeful.
"Nope," Kuroo said, drawing out the 'p' with a pop. "This is our cozy little beach hut. And don't look at me like that-I think it's super cute."
Tsukishima directed his last-hope-stare at Akaashi, who, predictably, offered no sympathy.
"I doubt this place even has two separate rooms," Akaashi said. "So I guess that solves the who-sleeps-with-who dilemma."
Tsukishima just wished he didn't have to phrase it like that.
