Emmy didnt have a good up bringing. when her life is changed for the worst in a drive by shooting that nearly takes her life, she decides she wants to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else. this is when she decides to become a police officer. on her first day she is assigned to the one and only Tim Bradford, he doesn't seem to be impressed by being assigned with a female rookie. When he learns her past he may start to feel the sorrow that no one else ever felt towards her.
