One day, Dave makes a decision to take the Chipmunks and Chipettes to the Museum so the six of them can learn more about the artefacts there and to teach them a few things about space too. After their trip at the museum, the Chipmunks and Chipettes seem interested about going to space so Simon and Jeanette decide they are going to build a rocket so the six of them can go into space themselves. Of course once the rocket gets built, the Chipmunks get really excited about going into space and seeing new and exciting things...but the Chipettes are not too sure about it. After a bit of convincing from the Chipmunks, the Chipettes decide to go with them. However, things don't go to plan for the Chipmunks and Chipettes once they journey into space.
