•I live in a divided world where the hard workers live in the clouds, while the dirty live in the misty grounds where beasts and meaningless life reach their ruthless hands wishing for someone to reach down.

But it wasn't always like this, once The First started to change we feared him, so his brother, who also changed took his family and soared into the skies, anyone who could reach a cloud quickly climbed on and since then nobody has gone down..

Fifty years ago we discovered that everyone had someone to share their destiny with.. I..found that my destiny was something I had to share with the ground below."

Once a noble who was thrown, rashed and broken after realizing who she shared paths with was sent down to die, but as tale has it, someone reached a hand, not from below, not from above, someone reached their hand foward.

Folktales and legends are the essence of childhood, but there comes a time when they must be left behind. One must grow up. But when The Princess of Kaupa, is married off to the King of the Theas. What seems to be a match made by the avaricious King of Kaupa, turns out to be a match made by the gods. Folktales and legends are the essence of childhood, but there comes a time when they must be left behind. Or must they? * * * I tilt my head to look at him. I have tears in my eyes; one is running down my cold cheek. I see his eyes widen and him falling to his knees beside the tub. He grasps my left arm forcefully, his eyes wide with fear. "You will never have me..." My voice breaks, but I manage to force out the words that are edged in my mind, and in my heart. "I curse you, everything you ever love shall die, everything you ever try shall fail, everything you ever wish for shall be denied you, my curse will ruin you, but the gods... the gods will end you..." I draw in a shaky breath, and gather the last of my strength. "The gods are as sardonic as they are vengeful... You shall die by the hand of The Spirit Warrior..." In the few moments after I say those words, there is utter silence and the only thing I hear is the sound of my blood hitting the water in the tub, which is already painted red. I see him opening his mouth and yell at me, yelling my name, but I hear nothing. I close my eyes and I feel only the blood steadily dropping from my wrist. "Put me in the same coffin..."

I didn't want this, anyone could've told you. My brother, Asia, my brother's girlfriend Miria. They all could've told you just how much I didn't want this. I just wanted to go back home, I was perfectly fine living in secret, hiding away underground, staying out fo as much trouble as possible. Even though Alex, Michael, and Asia made enough trouble for all of us. And even more so after Alex and Asia's bad break up. So yeah, I was fine with it all. But now... Everything was different. I had, a, huge, home. I had to learn what it was being an indigo. Had to study my so called people, my so called race of indigo. And what happens? Brooklyn does eventually come to me, does eventually tell me some prophecy that tells me to do something, and I apparently can't refuse. If I do, well, then apparently my so called kin could die. The name is Qassianne, but, never, NEVER, fucking call me that. It's Qassie, learn the name, live the name, love the name. I've been on the run with my twin brother for almost six months since they came out with that new law and everything has been steadily going down hill for us. I'm fine though, loving the wildlife, quite literally. I'm enjoying living with my brother in the forest trying to make our way to Washington D.C. although he thinks we should be traveling through the city more. And, I'm like, no. Two vastly different worlds, yet both souls of fire, yet both connected more than they realize, yet both have a story to tell. Prepare yourselves, because when a Phoenix of old, meets a Kitsune of old, their world will turn into puissant flames. Yet only together, can they become Fierce Of Flames.
