The Diary of Valdrada Steinbach, has by some unknown way, passed into my own hands. Thus I find it most important to share with you, for the story told within is grim and has a great wealth of knowledge on the creatures of the night.

* This story is based on Bram Stoker's Dracula and tells the story of my own character Valdrada in a similar way to the original story, that of her diary. I have taken liberty to change some things to match my story better, as in the 1931 movie it is not Jonathan Harker who travels to Transylvania as solicitor but rather Renfield (here given name be Thomas) upon which journey he becomes the familiar of our so well known count. I have tried to be as true to the original novel as I can, while still telling my story.*
