(This is a Percy Jackson fan-fiction with a self-insert character. I'm trying to keep all the facts from the actual books in this story to make it more accurate but I will be tweaking some things to fit this AU.) Michelle Litchfield is currently at a boarding school where her father made her go. Michelle was an average 10-year-old with no mother and an unloving model father who only cared about his career more than his daughter. Her irregular milky pale skin and lifeless, blank stare were more than enough reasons for her peers to stay far, far away from her. Michelle would often see things around her. Mostly monsters. But the adults would just shrug it off and just reason it as "childish imagination". Grover Underwood is a whole other story. He was the only one who tried to be friends with Michelle even though she couldn't care a single bit about him. He has crutches that help him walk. Without them, he would limp and hobble around. No one would talk to him either, so they are in a similar boat. One day at school, something happened that made Michelle and Grover immediately leave for their safety. But other than that, something else came up. Grover explains to her about the truth while they go to a place that Michelle never knew even existed. This strange camp. Monsters. Greek Mythology. Gods and Goddess. Demigods. It was all real. And she was a part of it all. But not even a day later, she was assigned this quest that could either cost her lif, or if she even survives, it would make her life a living hell.

gnossienne n. the realisation that you didn't actually know someone as well as you thought you did - - - - - 'Look, I never wanted to be a half-blood. Let's start from the top, shall we? My name is Cassandra Jackson, but everyone usually calls me Cassie. I'm 13 years old. Until a few months ago, I was a boarding student at Yancy Academy, a private school for troubled kids in upstate New York. My older twin, Perseus, or Percy, also attended. Are we both troubled kids? I guess you could call it that.' - - - - - Cassandra's whole world is turned upside down. Her boyfriend, Luke, has been lying to her since they first met at Yancy Academy. Her father is a god. Her mom just died and... oh yeah! Cassie and her brother supposedly stole Zeus's master bolt. But as they journey west, questions of who the real thief arise. - - - - - 'Gods, huh? I definitely could live without them.'
