Giyu and Sanemi have had it out for each other for ages. Well, it's more like Sanemi is out for Giyu, and Tomioka just wants to make a friend. That friend clearly won't be Sanemi.

Being sent on a mission together is the one thing they did not need, especially after having such a heated argument during a hashira meeting after the incident at the Hashira meeting with Tannjiro. What will happen when they realise that maybe they're destined to be more than just 'colleagues'?

In this au, Giyuu is not the water hashira, but Sabito is. They both passed final selection but due to Giyuu's eye injury he is blind in his left eye and keeps a bandage around it.
