A short story.
Ryujin found herself paired with none other than her ex, Hwang Yeji, for her science project. Initially, the thought of working with Yeji again brought back a flood of mixed emotions, as their breakup had left many unresolved issues between them. However, as they began to spend time together on their assignment, they unknowingly started to find the closure they had never received when they parted ways.
Despite the unexpected progress, Ryujin was determined to keep her guard up. The trauma from their past relationship lingered, making her wary of reopening old wounds. She resolved to establish firm boundaries, ensuring that no emotions would get attached or redeveloped. In her mind, Yeji was strictly a project partner, nothing more.
Yet, as they delved deeper into their work, Ryujin couldn't ignore the familiar comfort and connection that resurfaced. The question now loomed; would she be willing to give Yeji another chance and explore the possibility of rekindling their relationship, or would she decide to move on, leaving their past and any lingering feelings behind for good?
