I'm aroace. I like romance novels. As you can imagine, there isn't much representation for that in such a genre, so I created my own. This is the story of Katie (our aroace queen) as she finds a person she actually wants to spend forever with. There aren't enough stories that show the love that can be given even when aromantic. However this is also the story of Jordan, and you will hear from both characters throughout the story. In the original document, the speaker is denoted by different colored text. Here, bold = Jordan, and not bold = Katie. I have 125 pages written so far, and I decided to share it because young me would have benefited from reading something like this. Some of the stuff we will tackle: depression from being in the Navy, discovering sexuality and the very real feelings that come with that, gender stuff, long-distance struggles, QPRs, the struggles of intimacy when asexual... etc. If there is a tag that you don't think belongs, it is because it hasn't come up in the story yet. It's about two people growing closer and more intimate, finding a relationship that works for them, but they are aromantic so it's a story about love, but not romantic love. It's about how strong and intimate relationships can be anywhere on the aroace spectrums.)

Lingling had everything-success, wealth, and a woman who loved her unconditionally. But in her pursuit of greatness, she took Orm's love for granted, brushing off her affections as mere distractions. One night, exhausted from work, Lingling ignored Orm's calls, thinking they were just more of the same sweet nothings. The next morning, she woke up to dozens of missed calls and a voicemail that shattered her world-Orm had been in a terrible accident, and her last words were "I love you." Consumed by guilt and grief, Lingling spirals into despair, wishing for nothing more than a chance to go back-to love Orm the way she deserved. That's when she stumbles upon a mysterious, glowing four-leaf clover. A whispered wish, a flash of light, and suddenly, she finds herself thrown back in time-back to when Orm was still alive.
