I had it with doing quests! I wanted to go home and maybe put on a few pounds by eating a gallon of ice cream, but nope! I listened to a stupid panda person, and here I am: traveling through a volcanic land to find an ice flower. You ever heard of it? Me neither... But my friend, Amanda, who's a panda, put me up to this. Said she knew exactly where it was. I know, I know, doesn't make much sense for ice to exist around fire, but hey, that was just my life. Nothing ever made sense. Speaking of things that didn't make sense, I was doing this collector's quest for one of my guild members, Lent! Did I mention I was a guild leader? I'm a guild leader. Amanda insisted that we help Lent out because I had "feelings" for him. HA! Can you believe that panda? I didn't have feelings for anything! I took on his quest because I like him! Wait-no, no, that's not what I meant! I mean, I like him, but not like-like him. Whatever! Why not just join me on this quest, and you'll see exactly what I mean?

I threatened because I knew what he wanted to tell me and I didn't want to hear it. I never wanted to hear it. "Panda-corns? Seriously Luce" he laughed. I just shrugged and turned to walk away. The chocolate cake I knew was in the fridge was calling to me and I intended on answering its calls. My mouth watering at the thought. But before I managed to move two steps away, an arm grabbed my shoulder and I shuddered from the sparks that erupted through my body. "Luce. I'm your..."Jax began. I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain.
